Zanzibar has electricity again! It’s been a hard slog for the past 3 months not having electricity, so it is a real pleasure to have (non generator produced) power back in the hotel.

• 22nd March 2010: The electricity supply has stabilised and is on close to 24 hours each day (with the occassional minute or two downtime).

Our generators

At The Zanzibari we have two generators to provide electricity to the hotel and we run them during electricity downtime.
